Aryna Sabalenka
Sabalenka is a native of Minsk Belarus, which is the capital. Belarus. Sergey his father (who passed away in the year 2019), was an ice-hockey player. Aryna Sabalenka was born May 5th, 1998 in Minsk Belarus. There are 12 WTA titles during her career. Among them is the Grand Slam of 2023 Australian Open. When it comes to doubles, she's extremely skilled. She's won two majors along with Elise Mertens: the US Open in 2019 and the Australian Open in 2021. This year, the Belgian was the winner of both in the WTA 1000 and Miami Open in Indian Wells with her Belgian partners, making The Sunshine Double. Four women's teams have achieved this achievement. In January of 2023 she attained her highest rating in singles. On the 23rd of August in 2021, she shot up to number two in the ranks. When she played doubles, she managed to push herself to first in February of the same year following her victory in Melbourne and becoming the 2nd tennis player from Belarus to achieve success in the sport of doubles. Dmitry Tursunov was her coach from 2018, until the season ended in 2019, and also for a short duration at the beginning of 2020. She also briefly teamed up with Dieter Kindlmann between August and September of 2020. Since the end of 2020 she's been coaching by her countryman Antonio Dubrov. Her top idols include Serena Williams and Maria Sharapova.
